Our Story
Prior to co-founding Schatz Virtual Solutions, Lindsey spent years doing content marketing, blog writing, and social media management for East Carolina University. After graduating, she became a technical writer for a Fortune 500 company, while running a small personal finance blog in her free time. In her time as a blogger, she learned the inner workings of search engine optimization and email marketing. She also began work as a virtual assistant around this time, doing content writing and social media management.
After her career as a technical writer ended, she changed focus. Her new goal became turning her passion into a full-time job where she could do the things she loved, and help small business owners grow.
Before co-founding Schatz Virtual Solutions, Steven spent his time gaining experience in various IT, personnel management, and facility maintenance positions. His graphic design career took off upon offering to help a business colleague with web design and product descriptions, to great success. He gradually started branching out into social media management and copy editing work for small blogs, further growing his expertise. Upon leaving his previous job to help with the budding virtual assistant business, he started to pursue his passions by working on video editing and voice-over projects.
Putting his administrative and IT skills to work, he began to take on data entry projects and help with WordPress technical support. All of his hands-on experience and hard-earned knowledge have allowed him to consistently produce exceptional results for any project he takes on.
